Evelyn Jean "Jeanie" Patterson

Evelyn Jean “Jeanie” Patterson, 82, of Kent, passed away, surrounded by loving family, on Wednesday June 8, 2022. She was born in Wheeling, WV on July 29, 1939 to the late John and Evelyn Campbell. Jeanie was happiest when spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She loved spending warm summer days rocking on her swing with her dog, Harley. Jeanie graciously served in the Nursery at Lake Brady Methodist Church for 25 years.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, John Kenneth Sr., eldest son, John Kenneth Jr., and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Sharon) Patterson and Cindy (Todd) Noe; grandchildren, Jessica (Ray), Amanda (Jeffrey), Stephanie (Rick), Emily (Frank), Paige (Zachary), Michael (Samantha); four great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022. Friends may call at 10:00am at Lake Brady Methodist Church (1995 Brady Lake Road, Kent, Ohio 44240) with a service to follow at 11:00am. A light luncheon will be provided. Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Brady Methodist Church to be utilized for children’s education.
