Gary F. Wagner

Gary Francis Wagner, age 74, of Kent, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at UH Portage Medical Center.

Gary was born August 24, 1947 in Ravenna, to the late Elton and Margaret (Crock) Wagner.

He was a graduate of Field High School.  U.S. Air Force Veteran.  He married his wife Beverly in 1968.  He was a member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus.  In his younger years he worked at Highway Products, and Lamson & Sessions.  He later would work and own, the family business, Wagner Furniture & Upholstery, with his father.  He loved to take trips to Hilton Head, SC for family, and live it big on Vegas trips with Beverly and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura (Jim) Huston; grandsons, Tyler, and Connor Huston; brothers, Geoff (Sue-Ellen) Wagner, and Greg (Carolyn) Wagner; grandniece, Chelsea; grandnephews, Kade, Ryan, and Mark Wagner.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Beverly Wagner; parents, Elton, and Margaret Wagner.

Calling hours will be held 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday, December 20, 2021 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Pentello officiating.  Burial will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church of Kent.
