George P. Derbfuss, Jr, 89, of Stow, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Akron on January 28, 1933 to the late George and Mabel Derbfuss. George proudly served in the United States Navy. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1987, following over 32 years or employment. He was an avid boater and fisherman and loved to travel with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Derbfuss on December 31, 2021.

He leaves his children, Deborah (Dennis) Lapinskas, Cynthia Price, George (Jackie) Derbfuss III and Gregory (Denise) Derbfuss; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and his sister Helen Grubb.

In honoring his wishes, George will be cremated and he will be inurned with his wife, Norma, at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in George’s name, to a Non-Profit Organization of your choice.
