Harry G. Grinnell

Harry G. Grinnell, age 85, of Kent, died on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Hospice Care Center.

Harry was born February 2, 1936 in Kent, to George and Mary Lou (Clapp) Grinnell.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen (Kehner) Grinnell of Kent; son, Brian (Becky Jones) Grinnell of Ravenna; daughters, Vivian Roseman of Brimfield, Cheryl (Gary) Hunsicker of Ravenna; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Bica of Ravenna, Jane Myers of Kent.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George, Mary Lou Grinnell; brother, Roger Grinnell.

Calling hours will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2021 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory with Fr. Richard Pentello officiating.  Burial will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to the Animal Protective League, 8122 Infirmary Road, Ravenna, Ohio 44266; American Cancer Society, PO Box 1981, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
