Helen Mae Latacki

Helen Mae “Knapp” Latacki, 77, passed away June 20, 2022, at Summa City Hospital, Akron Ohio.  Helen was born on October 8, 1944, in Akron, OH to her parents, Raymond and Marcella Knapp.

Helen attended Akron Central High School and graduated in 1963.  In May of 1964 she married Tarus Latacki. Her family was very important to her. She was so happy when her grandchildren arrived. She loved to travel with her family.  Her and Terry travelled around the US and had a chance to live in England for a while.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marcella, and brother, Robert Lazar.  She is survived by; son, Tarus (Theresa) Latacki and daughter, Jeanette Latacki; grandchildren, Braden, Katya, and Evan; sister, Dianna (Frank) Kuta; sisters-in-law, Connie Jelen and Nancy Berna; brother-in-law, Gary (Linda) Reiter; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, June 29th from 5-7 P.M. at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, 628 West Main Street. Kent, OH 44240. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 30th at 1PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church Randolph, 2643 Waterloo Rd. Mogadore, OH 44260. The family will receive friends and family 1 hour prior at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
