James Bendula Obituary

James Andrew Bendula, 69, of Stow, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Summa Health Systems Akron City Hospital. He was born in Cleveland on November 23, 1951 to the late Andrew and Helen Bendula.

James was an accomplished carpenter and could build or fix anything asked of him. He was very hardworking and a wonderful provider. He was a family man that would do anything for those he loved. He was a member of the Akron Carpenters Local Union #285 and a Cruiser Club. James will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

He leaves his loving wife of 38 years, Donna Bendula; children, Rebecca Brittsan, James Michael (Lois) Brittsan, Theresa Atkinson and Victoria (Mark) Atkinson; grandchildren, Ben, Matt, Jim, Jesse, Mike and Sarah; five great grandchildren; brother Robert (Jeanette) Bendula; sister Jean Bendula; one nephew and two great nieces.

In honoring his wishes, James will be cremated and there will be no services.
