Jason K Bowlby

Jason K. Bowlby, 34 of Streetsboro, OH, passed away on February 15, 2021. He was born to Brian and Loretta Bowlby on August 29, 1986 at St. Thomas Hospital, Akron, OH. He was a salesman with Hyundai of Streetsboro.  He enjoyed motorcycle rides and he was an excellent artist. Jason loved children and animals. Kids seemed to be drawn to him. He had a great sense of humor, was very outgoing, and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Thelma Hamric and Ray and Edythe Bowlby, and cousins Kevin Duke and Brittany Duke.

He leaves his parents Brian and Loretta of Newport, NH; sister Meghan McEwen (Ryan Cooley) of Detroit, MI and brother Colin McEwen (Kelly Flamos) of Lakewood, OH; his girlfriend Amber La Plant, the love of his life, and her children RuthAnn and Caleb, and six nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 P.M. with Covid-19 restrictions enforced, masks are required.  To view the service virtually, please visit our facebook page.
