John Patterson Jr. Obituary

John K. Patterson Jr., 63, of Ravenna, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Wheeling, WV and was a 1976 graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School. John was employed in machine maintenance for 20 years, retiring from Schneller in 2020. Following retirement, he continued working in machine maintenance with Sealed Air. He was a member of the Izaak Walton League of America and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered for the joy he got out of decorating for Christmas and throwing his annual Easter Egg Hunt.

He was preceded in death by his father, John K. Patterson Sr.

John leaves his loving wife Kathy Patterson; children, Jessica (Ray) Mathes, Amanda (Jeffrey) Farber, Stephanie (Rick) Rollyson, Brandon (Adam) Bowe and Mariah (Tucker) Bowe; his mother Evelyn Jean Patterson; grandchildren, Wyatt, Ryleigh, Owen, Carter, Camille, Jace, Paityn, MaKenna and Logan.

In honoring his wishes, John will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
