Josephine LeRoy Obituary
Josephine N. LeRoy, 90, of Brady Lake, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at her home.
She was born September 9, 1927 in Kent to Peter and Theresa (Filomena) DeCapito. She will be remembered most for her love of her children, grandchildren, and her home.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Michael) Downs of Stow, Elzada (Bill) Rowe of Lebanon, ME and Leila Hillard of North Port, FL; son-in-law, Robert "Gus" Thompson of Kent; granddaughter, Lexi Downs; brothers, Joe (Tillie) DeCapito of Florida and Vince (Charlotte) DeCapito of Kent; and sister-in-law Jayne DeCapito of Brady Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leighotis L. LeRoy Sr., son, Leighotis L. LeRoy Jr., daughter, Sherry Thompson, grandchild, Matthew M. Downs, brothers, Art DeCapito, Albert DeCapito, Ben DeCapito, and Peter DeCapito; and sisters, Helen Goff and Ann Hulak.
Funeral services will be held Noon Tuesday, August 21st at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Kevin O'Brien officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
