Kathleen M. (Braun) Kiel

Kathleen Margaret Kiel nee Braun, 89, of Brimfield, died Saturday, January 9, 2021, at her home.

She was born  in Wooster Ohio on February 13, 1931 to Joe and Florence (Boyles) Braun. She was retired from the Kent City Schools, was a member of St. Patrick Church.

She was an avid traveler, and member of the St. Vincent class of 1949 club.

She is survived by her children, Brian Kiel of San Diego, CA, Dennis Kiel of Akron, Roger Kiel of Akron, Kevin (Diana) Kiel of Fairport Harbor, Peggy (John) Dolensky of Coventry Township, Chris (Jennifer) Kiel of Durango, CO, and Carol Kiel of Sharon Twp., OH; daughter-in-law, Pamela Kiel of Ventura,  CA., grandchildren, Deven, Jessica, Jeffrey, Danielle, Margaret, James, Henry, Peter, Mary, Martha, John Paul, Eliza, and Sean; grand dog, MacGyver; great grandchildren, Jacob, Cody, Macen, Wyatt, and Destinee.; She was preceded in death by her husband James Kiel, son Martin Kiel, brothers, Jim, Don, Tom, and Walt Braun.

Calling hours will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 14, at St. Patrick Church with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Burial will be held at Restland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church Memorial Fund, 313 N. DePeyster Street, Kent, OH 44240.
