Lillian Wilson Obituary

Lillian Rebecca Wilson, 92, of Randolph, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in the comfort of her home. She was born on February 9, 1932 in Barberton to the late Earnest and May Brooks and retired from the Randolph Post Office.

Lillian married Delbert Ward Wilson on February 14, 1959, and they enjoyed 52 years together.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Shaffer of Akron, David Shaffer of Pittsburgh, PA, and Patrick Wilson of Randolph; daughters, Marsha Shipley of Akron, Ruth (Steve) Matheos of Marlboro, and Cheryl (Ray) Shamblen of Atwater; brother Charles Brooks of Lake Village, IN; many grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Wilson; son Larry Wilson; brother Wendell Brooks; and sisters Martha Judge and Becky Collard.

Private services have been held for the family.

Services in the care of Bissler and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.
