Marian A. Horner

Marian A. Horner, age 91, of Kent, died on September 28, 2019 at Kent Ridge Assisted Living.

Marian was born October 4, 1927, in Los Angeles, CA to Wilbur and Maude (Walker) Brunswick. Marian retired from the Streetsboro Schools system, where she taught second grade for 24 years.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Kent.  She enjoyed quilting and traveling.  Marian loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Donald E. Horner; sons, Jon (Gayle) Horner and David (Laura Smithies) Horner; grandchildren, Joshua Horner, Andrew Horner, Joseph Horner, Jennifer (Garrett) Holl, Matthew (Katy) Horner and Jessica (Troy) Holl; great-grandchildren, Nathan Horner, Rory Holl, Jackson Horner, Greta Holl and Henry Holl; sisters-in-law, Nancy Brunswick and Gloria Brunswick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Maude (Walker) Brunswick; sister, Harriet Thorn; brothers, Bill Brunswick, Jim Brunswick and Robert Brunswick.
