Marie L. (Sepi) Shanley

Marie Louise Shanley, age 91, of Kent, OH went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Tallmadge Health and Rehab Center.

Marie was born April 8, 1931 to the late Frank and Fannie Sepi.

She was affectionately known to her grandchildren as “Grandmarie”.  Marie was a proud lifelong resident of the South end of Kent and retired from Parker-Hannifin Corporation. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking Sunday dinner for her many, many grandchildren. She will forever be missed by us all.

She is survived by her children Mikelann (Terry) Meloy, Terri Shanley Caudill (John Wortman), grandchildren Shawn (Debbie) Robinson, Danielle (Mike) Furness, Nicole Caudill Day, Justin (Michelle) Caudill, Colleen Moran, sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren and her many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Vincent Shanley, her son Danny Shanley, brothers Daniel and Mike and sisters Josephine and Caroline.

Private services in care of Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kent. Burial at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
