Mary Ellen (Pugsley) Moore

Mary Ellen Moore, 74, of Ravenna, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ravenna.  She was born in Cleveland on March 28, 1948 to the late Cecil and June Pugsley and was a Ravenna resident most of her life.  She retired from the Portage County Clerk of Courts Probate Office and enjoyed word search puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Moore; brother Perry Pugsley and sister Peggy Graham.

She leaves her son and daughter-in-law Dexter L. and Leslie Worthy Jr. of Kent; sisters, Nancy Palmer of Orange, TX and Faith (Patrick) Kassinger of Munroe Falls, OH; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday, September 30, 2022 from 5:00-7:00PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.  Per Mary Ellen's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
