Mary Lear (Kilbourne) Nitzsche

Mary Lear Nitzsche, 78, of Kent, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2023 at The Pinnacle Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  She was born on January 20, 1945 in Seattle, WA to the late Clinton “Ike” and Catherine Kilbourne.  Mary earned a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.  She loved her flowers, was an avid gardener and quilter and member of the Portage Patchers Quilt Guild.

She leaves her husband David Nitzsche, whom she married on May 4, 2003; children, Timothy Lear, Jennifer (Dean) Sloane and Amy Pablo; step-children, Shannon Nitzsche and Kirk Nitzsche; grandchildren, Porter and Paige Sloane, Matilda, Amaya and Alexa Pablo, Cash and Presley Nitzsche and sisters, Pat (Harold) Nash, Judy (Gary) Anderson and Sue (Lloyd) Thatcher.

In honoring her wishes, Mary will be cremated and there will be no services.
