Patricia (Linnen) Zeller

Patricia Linnen Zeller, 94, of Kent, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021.  She was well known for her sweet nature, devotion to raising her children, and also enjoying being a part of her grandchildren’s lives.  She was a member of St. Michael’s bridge club for many years, and once her children were grown, she spent many hours crafting stuffed bears and grapevine wreaths and crocheting.  She loved big band music and was at her happiest when “cuttin’ the rug” at family weddings.

Pat was born in 1927, in Kent to Tom and Genevieve Linnen.  She was married in 1947, to the late William Zeller, with whom she raised 12 children, on Wolcott Ave. in Kent.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter Mary Ann; sons-in-law Scot Collins and Mick Wood grandsons, Roak Zeller and Zach Dunlap; and siblings, Paul and Tom Linnen, Louise Linnen, Dorothy Aldridge, and Joanne Kordas.

She is survived by her children, Cyndie Mays, Tom (Mary) Zeller, Jim (Aimee) Zeller, Kathy (Jim) Miller, Ed (Nancy) Zeller, Karl Zeller, Joe (Elysia) Zeller, Theresa Zeller, Laura (Paul) Teagle, Diane (Rob) Zeller, Mike (Tiffany) Zeller, and Steve (Amy) Zeller.  Her legacy also includes 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 313 N. Depeyster St. Kent, OH 44240, with the Rev. Fr. Richard Pentello as Celebrant.  Burial will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or to the Crossroads Hospice Program.
