Richard N. Capellman

Richard N. Capellman, age 80, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at his home.
 
Richard was born December 25, 1940, in New Kensington, PA to John and Dorothy (Young) Capellman.  
 
Richard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He worked at Westinghouse in Cheswick for many years as a machinist, loved cars and watching sports, and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He lost his first beloved wife of 40 years, Donna Capellman, in 2006, and was lucky to find love again with Shelley Ingraham, who he married on the 6th anniversary of their first date on June 14th, 2014. They enjoyed their grandchildren, a new home, a little travel, and time together with their puppy, Penney.  
 
He is survived by his loving wife, Rochelle Capellman; daughters, Traci (Steve) DuVal, and Terri (Jim) Christensen; grandchildren, Delaney and Londyn DuVal, Alex and Kendall Christensen; brother, Robert (JoRene) Capellman and several nieces and nephews.
 
Richard is also survived by a step-family who loved him including Joe (Gloria) Steinbrecher, Kristina McKenzie, and step-grandchildren, Karlie Polomsky and Brandon Polomsky.
 
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. (Golembiesky) Capellman; parents John Capellman (Father), Dorothy Capellman (Mother), and brother James J. Capellman.  
 
For family and friends in Ohio: calling hours will be held 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W Main Street, Kent, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Faith Lutheran Church, 931 E Main Street, Kent, Ohio.  
 
For family and friends in Pennsylvania: Calling hours will be held 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2021, at Duster Funeral Home, 347 E Tenth Ave, Tarentum, PA. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell, PA.
