Richard Thomas Demshar

Richard Thomas Demshar, age 62, of Kent, OH, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at UH Cleveland.

Richard was born July 30, 1959 in Euclid, OH to Ralph and Sarah (Thamer) Demshar.

He graduated from Kirtland High School and went on to join the United States Air Force. In the Air Force it gave him great pride to work on big engines.  After the service he resumed work at Campus Camera where he worked for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed working along side his father Ralph, step mother Judy and brother Danny. All those who knew Rich would remember how much of a character he was and knew how much he loved to debate even if you were already on his side.  He loved Cleveland sports, Kirtland Hornets and never had a milkshake he didn't like. He enjoyed spending his time playing pool, watching wrestling, riding the tractor at his dad's farm and watching the game with his cousins, siblings and son in law. The most cherished time for him was spent with family.

He is survived by father, Ralph (Judy) Demshar; brothers, Daniel (Monnette) Demshar, Vincent (Steven) Demshar; sister, Kelly Russell; sister, Jessica (Geoff) Fisher; half brother, Doug (Lisa) Habat;

daughters, Amanda Demshar, Melissa (Jason) Stewart; stepson, John Mason and his grandchildren Madison, Dakota, Jacey, Colton, Brooks and Harper;  His life long friend, Debbie Demshar.  Richard was also lucky enough to be surrounded by many cousins, nieces and nephews who he cherished.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Jane Demshar and niece Kayla Wright.

Calling hours will be held 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.  Private family burial will be held at a later date.
