Robert Roy Anderson

Robert Roy Anderson, age 66, of Ravenna, OH, died on Monday, May 30, 2022 at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Robert was born August 22, 1955 in Ravenna, OH to Arthur and Leona (Reese) Anderson.

A dedicated hard working beloved father and grandfather, who sacrificed his entire life to the happiness of his family and the animals that he loved, passed away on May 30th. After a difficult fight to recover from a debilitating stroke on May 18th of 2020 and with him beating his battle against lung cancer, his body had just had enough. He enjoyed carpentry, a love for nature, every animal he met, summer thunderstorms rolling in, and baking cookies and cakes for everyone he knew. He spent over 40 years, seven days a week, at Williams Brothers Mill on Water Street in downtown Kent working with his friends for his family.

He is survived by son, Robert Anderson (Christopher Wilson), daughters, Traci Serva and Holly Shafer (Michael Shafer), and his 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur, and Leona Anderson, and all his siblings, Clifford Anderson, David Anderson, and Susan Davis.
