Robert L. Lindsey

Robert L. “Bob” Lindsey, 77, of Ravenna, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Tamarack Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born in Circleville, OH on January 21, 1946 and was a lifelong resident of the Kent/Ravenna area.

He was a mailman in his younger years, and later was the owner/operator of Lindsey’s Bar.  Upon early retirement, Bob spent most of his time in Florida with his life partner Maureen Smith.  He enjoyed photography, riding his Harley Davidson, traveling in his RV and spending time in Jamaica, where he obtained his Master Scuba Diver Certification.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father William Lindsey; his mother Betty Beal; and brothers, Harold and John Lindsey. Bob leaves his sister Shirley Looney-Walker; children, Bobby Lindsey, Bill Lindsey and Becky Lindsey; grandchildren Amber and BJ Lindsey and his life partner Maureen Smith.

In honoring his wishes, Bob will be cremated, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
