Robert L. Webb

Robert L. Webb, 82, of Kent, passed away on October 29, 2021 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Centerburg, OH on June 16, 1939 to the late Bev (Bud) and Grace (Bostic) Webb.

Bob was happily retired from many years in customer service and sales.   He was a member of United Methodist Church of Kent and served as an elected schoolboard official in the 1970s and 1980s for Highland Local Schools in Morrow County.    Bob was a relentless sports fan with the Indians and Browns at the top of his list.  He enjoyed sharing stories of his raccoon hunting and mushroom hunting hobbies.  Bob’s family was always his focus.  He loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent together, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother Ernest Webb and his sister Linda Webb Shearer.

He leaves his loving wife Sue (Denman) Webb of 63 years; children, Jim (Barbara) Webb, Chris (Janeen) Webb, Joe (Kelly) Webb, and Amy (Larry) Webb Barefield; grandchildren, Lindsey (Brian) Webb Booth, Joe David (Meghan) Webb, Christen Webb, Robert (Laura) Webb, Andrew (Allyson) Webb, Janae (Ken) Webb Jones, and Caleb Weir; great grandchildren, Luke, MaKenzi, Derek, Gracie, Miles, Stella, John Paul, Rachel, Gavin, Austin, Olivia, and Judson.

A private memorial service will be held for the family at United Methodist Church of Kent.  He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to The Ohio State University James Cancer Center, 460 W. 10th Ave. Columbus, OH 43210.
