Ron Saillant

Ron passed away Friday afternoon, November 6, 2020 surrounded by love from his family. Ron was born on Coronado Island, California on June 13, 1962.

Ron is survived by the Love of His Life, Patricia; his Favoriteist Son, Christopher; his beloved Granddaughter, Harley; Daughter In Law, Amanda; his adorable Granddog, Charlie. Ron’s Mother In Law, Pat “Mom” Starkey and Pete “Dad”. Mother, Dianne Cole; Brother, Jon, Sisters, Lisa and Cassie(Dan); Nieces, Alexis(Shai) and nephews, Austin, Caleb(Michael) . Ron also leaves his beloved extended Piru Familia, his Cul-de-sac Comrades, GameStop Buddies, GE/GG crew and all of the family and friend’s who’s hearts he touched throughout his wonderful life.

Ron was preceded in death by Father, R.E. Saillant. Ron was proud to share that he was on the Underwater Demolition Team (one of the first Navy Seals) and loved seeing his Dad’s picture hanging in Kennedy Space Center.

Ron made friends every place he went and was always known for his big contagious smile. He joked, he laughed a lot, and thought he was the funniest guy you knew. He worked hard every day but when he came home he forgot about everything and made my mom and me his top priority on asking us how are day was, greeted us with a smile and a huge hug, and just asked how are day was. When he worked away from home, we would FaceTime every night just to say Goodnight and I love you. He was always thinking about us and never himself. He always cared about how other people were doing and never talked about his health. He was the most loved and most powerful man in our World. His heart overcame by his sickness. He fought so hard with his sickness but never dwelled on or complained once about on it, it was always “everything is going to be ok” with a smile on his face and always a sign language I love you. He was the best dad Christopher could ever ask for and a better husband to my mom. We will always love you and will see you again. Thank you for being our guardian angel.
