Ronald L Stutzman Sr.

Ronald L. Stutzman Sr., age 82 of Kent, passed away March 3, 2023 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born August 22, 1940 to the late Lloyd and Margaret Stutzman in Kent, Ohio.

Ron enjoyed spending time with family and friends, meeting for his daily coffee at Mikes Place his second home or gathering with his kids and enjoying a drink or two just catching up.  He loved watching his grandkids in any of their extracurricular activities.  He took daily walks just to keep himself young and full of energy. Ron loved to travel especially to the Daytona 500 or just anywhere with the sun and sand.   He was a man with a big heart and was willing to help anyone that needed it however he could. 

Ronald is survived by his daughters, April (Matt) Stewart, Stacy Reder, and Arin Gilbert; sons, Troy (Alette) Stutzman, Ron Stutzman, and Thomas (Patty) Reder; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra Stutzman; sister Norma Jean (Richard) Dohse; brother William (Alice) Stutzman.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Portage APL.
