Russell G. Vaughn

Russell G Vaughn, age 72, of Kent, OH, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home.

Russell was born May 2, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Robert Bachtel and Dorothy (Elia) Tassone.

He is survived by sons, Russell “Little Rusty” (Lynda) Vaughn, Jim (Karen) Vaughn, Troy Vaughn, Kyle Vaughn, and Daniel Vaughn; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Clara) Eigner, Connie Higgins, Vickie (Don) Lansberry, Dale Moore, Judy (Marty) Wigginton, and Sam (Marilyn) Tassone.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Denny Bachtel, and Beverly Houck.

Calling hours will be held 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, Ohio 44240, with a memorial service at 5:00 PM.
