Sharon (Miller) Saladin

Linda Sharon Saladin, 79, of Brimfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Altercare Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center. Sharon was born in East Liberty, OH on March 3, 1944 to the late James and Dora Miller. Sharon worked as a beautician for several years before starting her family and later embarked on adventures across the country, living in five other states before returning to Ohio. With the advent of digital cameras, Sharon became a shutterbug, and loved to take pictures of family and friends, and then spend hours editing photos and creating keepsake scrapbooks to preserve those memories. As an active member of Victory Baptist Temple, Sharon loved using her skills to support the church’s children’s program and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Sharon had a lifelong love of dancing. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed going to the movies. Best of all Sharon loved spending time surrounded by her family, especially if she could feed them.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert, daughter Michele and her husband Chris, son Steven and his wife Chris, son Daniel and his wife Beth, grandchildren Jacob, Gabe, Lauren, Evelyn, and Alena, brother James and his wife Kathy, her nephew Derek and wife Maggie, and her nephew Jared, wife Tiffany and their two daughters.

Honoring her wishes, Sharon will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Victory Baptist Temple, 4167 State Rte 43, Kent, Ohio 44240 at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the church. Inurnment will follow the service at Restland Cemetery.
