Stella M. (Timms) Butcher

Stella M. Butcher, 86, of Hartville, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Altercare of Hartville.  She was born in Macedonia, OH on February 5, 1936 to the late William and Gladys Timms and was a graduate of Rootstown High School.  Stella was employed with the Oak Rubber Company for 34 years and most recently, employed with the Stow Giant Eagle for 19 years.  She enjoyed watching game shows and loved her time working at Giant Eagle.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ravenna and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her husband, David Butcher in 1984; brothers, Donald, Bill, Ernie, Jack, Howard, Richard, Sammie and John; sisters, Blanche, Betty and Evelyn and her step-daughter Debra Butcher Hall.

She leaves her step-sons and their wives, Robert and Barb Butcher of Alliance, Mike and Kathy Butcher of Hartville and Jeff and Tammy Butcher of Sebring.

In honoring her wishes, Stella will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
