Stephen Poling Obituary

Stephen Eugene Poling, age 69, of Kent, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 20, at his home.

Stephen was born September 21, 1951 in Findlay, to Donald and Marlynn (Brunner) Poling.

He was an U.S. Army Veteran with the Military Police, with a career in law enforcement.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Poling; children, Ryan Poling, Alison Brouse, Shannon Shaffer, Shane Gierke, Michelle (Nate) Ruggles, Mitch Gierke; grandchildren, Madelyn, Paislee, Lincoln, Trent, Kourtney, Mallorie, and Lilah; step-mother, Donna Crile; and faithful companion, Kenzie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Lee Poling; and parents, Donald, and Marlynn Poling.

Private Funeral services were held at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Burgess officiating. Interment was at Standing Rock Cemetery.
